Former Jesup, Ga., carrier admits to stealing letters after sting | Jacksonville.com: "BRUNSWICK, Ga. — A Jesup woman pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to stealing mail while working as a substitute letter carrier on a rural route in Wayne County last year.

Nicolle F. Amsden, 44, was arrested in a sting operation conducted by special agents with the Inspector General’s Office of the U.S. Postal Service.

Amsden admitted taking mail containing cash and gift cards valued at less than $1,000 mailed by Special Agent Ellen Massey, who initiated the undercover sting, from July 25 through Aug. 27."
