USPS looking at consolidating facilites in Bridgeport, Stamford, New Haven - The Connecticut Post Online: "Branches and satellite postal facilities in Bridgeport, Stamford, New Haven, Hartford and Waterbury could be among those targeted for consolidation by the U.S. Postal Service.
However, branches in Monroe, Milford and Shelton won't be affected by the cost-saving moves that could take place by the Christmas/New Year holidays.
No site has yet been identified for closing."
